Images de France
There is a new exhibit now on display in Special Collections on the 5th floor of the ULM Library.
Images de France is thirty years' worth of photographs made by Louisiana photographer Lee Estes during his travels in the country. The black and white prints exhibit a variety of subjects, including renowned Parisian landmarks as well as pedestrian French natives living their everyday lives. Pieces from Lee Estes' vintage camera and photography equipment collection will also be on display.
The exhibition as been made possible by the Schepis Museum and the Louisiana Endowment for the Humanities, a state affiliate of the National Endowment for the Humanities.
