RIA Tax Services Security Problem

Do you have and use a user account for RIA Tax Services Checkpoint? The publisher has reported a security problem with it, and you might want to change your password. Here is the Thomson Reuters's original message:

As a result, we would like to inform you that certain account information may have been compromised. The account information that might have been compromised includes email address, credit card type and credit card information. However, after a thorough investigation, we have concluded that no sensitive personal information, such as credit card numbers or government-issued identification numbers, was compromised. We have no reason to believe that any personal information of yours may have been misused. Furthermore, this incident impacted no subscription-based product sites or logins such as Checkpoint, etc. As a precaution, we have disabled all passwords of existing accounts on this website and are asking that you reset your password by following the steps below. Click the Change Password link and follow the prompts. Click the Click here to go to the login area link in the e-mail to enter your User ID and temporary password. Once logged in, click the Change ID and/or Password link. New Database, Credo Reference

We are pleased to say that we have acquired a new reference resource, Credo Reference.

This is an encyclopedic database that finds quick information on a variety of topics. Think of it as an acceptable replacement for Wikipedia. It does much more, however. You can try it out here:
